Dutch Bros, the drive-thru coffee chain known for its vibrant culture and fully customizable drinks, has partnered with FUNBOY to introduce a limited edition drink floatie for summer 2025. Designed for hands-free sipping in backyard pools, lakes and other outdoor settings, the floatie will be available beginning July 16 at more than 1,000 Dutch Bros locations nationwide with the purchase of any medium or large drink.
The floatie’s design draws on Dutch Bros brand colors of red, blue and yellow and features smiley faces and phrases such as stoked and rad to reflect the chain’s informal culture. Customers in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas can obtain the floatie starting at 5 am local time, while those in other states can do so beginning at 3 pm local time. Merchandise will not be distributed before each shop’s scheduled drop time, and supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tana Davila, chief marketing officer at Dutch Bros, said the partnership felt natural given both brands’ focus on creating special experiences for customers. Raquel Barrett, co-founder of FUNBOY, described cold drinks and summer days by the water as a perfect pairing and said the floatie would help customers enjoy their best days of summer with their favorite beverages.
The collaboration aims to bring the ultimate poolside experience by combining beverage enjoyment with FUNBOY’s innovative pool accessories, extending the specialty coffee experience beyond the drive-thru window. The limited edition drink floatie will be supported by in-store promotions and social media campaigns and is expected to appeal to customers seeking a novel way to enjoy their drinks outdoors.
