Electrify America and Royal Farms are teaming up to add Hyper-Fast EV charging at eight convenience store locations across Maryland, aiming to make quick top-ups as routine as a coffee stop. The rollout features chargers capable of up to 350 kW, with the first stations now live in Halethorpe and Oxon Hill. According to the companies, the sites are designed to pair high-speed charging with on-site food and beverage options so drivers can recharge both car and crew on commutes and road trips.

“By combining speed and convenience, we’re helping make the EV experience more effortless,” said Anthony Lambkin, vice president of operations at Electrify America. Royal Farms’ fuel and environmental leader Thomas Ruszin framed the partnership as a way to meet evolving customer needs without sacrificing speed, comfort, or familiarity.

Six additional Maryland locations—Annapolis, Catonsville, Charlotte Hall, Columbia, Pikesville, and Towson—are slated to open in the coming months, bringing the collaboration to more than 55 individual chargers. The new sites will fold into Electrify America’s national footprint of over 1,000 stations and 5,000 chargers. The two operational Maryland stations are at 3505 Washington Blvd in Halethorpe, and 100 Monument Ave #2 in Oxon Hill.
