The launch coincides with National Grapefruit Month and reflects a growing consumer interest in citrus flavors, particularly in North America, where market research indicates a projected growth rate of 3.84% in the citrus flavors segment by 2027. The Pink Grapefruit variant is designed to meet the demand for subtle zesty tastes and is formulated with essential electrolytes, including magnesium, sodium, potassium, calcium, and glucose, which are intended to aid in hydration when electrolyte levels are low.
Electrolit’s product line includes both core and limited edition flavors, as well as five Zero Sugar options and ready-to-mix electrolyte hydration sachets in flavors such as Lemon Lime, Fruit Punch, Grape, and Strawberry Kiwi. Each serving of the Pink Grapefruit beverage contains 326 mg of electrolytes, and the glucose component serves as a natural energy source that may assist in recovery from dehydration.
In addition to 7-Eleven, Electrolit products can be found at retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, and HEB, as well as through various online platforms. The brand is also exploring opportunities to introduce additional limited-time offerings as it continues to expand its product range and invites retailer partners to enhance their stock-keeping units across the nation.
