Eureka has made a notable impact at IFA 2024 with the introduction of its flagship robot vacuum, the Eureka J15 Pro Ultra. This new model includes several industry-first features, such as a self-cleaning base station and active detangling technology, alongside its powerful 16,200 Pa suction and enhanced edge cleaning capabilities.
The J15 Pro Ultra’s self-cleaning base station sets it apart from other models on the market. While typical robot vacuums can clean themselves, the base station tray is often overlooked, allowing dirt buildup to reduce mop cleaning efficiency. To address this, Eureka has designed the J15 Pro Ultra with a built-in tray scraper, debris collection area, and a channel to gather debris from the tray. The system works by scraping debris from the tray and collecting it into a dust bag during the next cleaning cycle, reducing the need for manual cleaning.
Another innovative feature of the J15 Pro Ultra is Eureka’s FlexiRazor technology, designed to tackle the common issue of hair tangling. FlexiRazor uses high-density blades that vibrate 400 times per minute to cut hair with a 4 mm amplitude, reducing hair tangling by up to 99%. This feature, tested and certified by SGS Lab, allows for a more efficient cleaning process without the need for frequent manual intervention.
In terms of performance, the J15 Pro Ultra boasts a suction power of 16,200 Pa, capable of removing up to 99% of household debris, according to tests conducted by Eureka. Additionally, the vacuum features ScrubExtend technology, which allows it to clean close to walls and furniture edges more effectively. The mop extension system activates when the vacuum detects corners or obstacles, ensuring thorough cleaning in areas that are typically difficult to reach. TÜV Rheinland has confirmed the technology’s effectiveness, validating a 98.95% edge coverage rate.
