Ferrero North America, a division of the Ferrero Group, introduced Tic Tac Chewy, its first sugar candy, at the 2024 Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis. This product marks Ferrero’s initial innovation exclusive to the US market, highlighting the company’s focus on growth within this region.
Tic Tac Chewy features a crunchy exterior that transitions into a chewy interior with intense fruit flavors. This product is available in two varieties, Fruit Adventure and Sour Adventure, each containing five flavors: Cherry, Apple, Orange, Lemon, and Grape. Tic Tac Chewy will be available in September at select retailers, including Walmart, Amazon, and Kroger, with a national rollout planned for early 2025.
Ferrero’s Vice President of Marketing, Dan Cutchin, stated that the company is eager for consumers to try the new product. Tic Tac currently holds the top position in the mint category with nearly 15 million consumers. The introduction of Tic Tac Chewy represents Ferrero’s entry into the sugar candy market.
Jim Klein, Chief Customer Officer of Ferrero USA, noted the company’s significant investment in North America, which includes expanded manufacturing and R&D capabilities. He emphasized that new products like Tic Tac Chewy position Ferrero for continued growth and value delivery for retail partners.
