The initiative follows operational improvements aimed at enhancing taste and customer satisfaction and marks the brand’s return to the Colonel’s blend of 11 herbs and spices.
The menu update includes the limited-time addition of fried pickles—golden-fried dill pickle slices—that pair with KFC’s new Comeback Sauce or ranch dressing. Fan-favorite $7 Fill Ups remain on the menu alongside the pickles, reflecting KFC’s focus on trend-forward innovation.
KFC’s new brand creative revives Colonel Sanders in advertising, with chef Matty Matheson joining the campaign to underscore the company’s commitment to flavorful chicken. In-store signage and billboards feature a more serious expression of the Colonel, signaling the brand’s resolve to win back market share by listening to customer feedback.
Catherine Tan-Gillespie, president of KFC U.S., said the brand is inviting customers to try the chicken, share their opinions and help co-create the comeback. The “Free Bucket On Us” offer is redeemable through the app or website while supplies last.
