Sensei Farms has introduced baby spinach as the newest product in its line of indoor-grown leafy greens. This product is cultivated year-round in the company’s 30-acre greenhouse located in Ontario. It is now available at select Safeway and Acme grocery stores throughout the US Mid-Atlantic region.
Jessica Vasisht, the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Sensei Farms, stated that the company aims to provide fresh and responsibly grown fruits and vegetables throughout the year. The addition of baby spinach is part of their ongoing efforts to expand their product offerings.
The baby spinach is noted for its delicate texture and mild flavor, making it suitable for various culinary uses, including salads and smoothies. It is also marketed as pesticide-free and non-GMO.
Furthermore, Sensei Farms emphasizes sustainability in its packaging. The packaging for their leafy greens, including baby spinach, is made from recyclable materials and features a moisture-resistant paperboard tray that allows for 360-degree product visibility, along with a peel and reseal closure for convenience.
