Garmin today unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Venu X1, which combines a slim 8 mm case with a bright 2 inch AMOLED display and up to eight days of battery life in smartwatch mode. The watch uses a lightweight titanium caseback and scratch-resistant sapphire lens to deliver premium durability without bulk.
The rectangular watch face features rounded corners and larger font sizes for easy readability of preloaded maps, workout metrics and health insights. A quick-release ComfortFit nylon band ensures all-day comfort in both black and moss color options. Customizable watch faces allow users to prioritize the data they care about most, from step count and real-time heart rate to altitude and training readiness.
Venu X1 also integrates handy everyday features. A built-in flashlight enhances visibility in low light. A speaker and microphone let users make and receive phone calls right from the wrist when paired with a compatible smartphone. Voice commands such as starting an activity or setting a timer can be executed directly on the watch without needing the phone.
