Simply Spiked has introduced a new product line called Simply Spiked Bold, which features spiked lemonades and limeades with an increased alcohol by volume (ABV) of 8%. This new offering is aimed at consumers aged 21 and over across the United States. The line includes two flavors: Signature Lemonade and Cherry Limeade, both of which incorporate 5% real fruit juice.
Jamie Rotnicki, Vice President of Innovation at Molson Coors Beverage Company, stated that Simply Spiked has been a leader in the flavored alcoholic beverage category since its launch in 2022. The introduction of Simply Spiked Bold aims to provide consumers with bolder flavor profiles while maintaining the brand’s commitment to real fruit juice.
Simply Spiked Bold is positioned as a suitable option for social gatherings, emphasizing its familiar flavors in a more intense drinking experience. The product is expected to appeal to consumers seeking higher ABV options, particularly in convenience store settings, which have shown a notable demand for single-serve alcoholic beverages.
Since its inception, Simply Spiked has consistently introduced flavors that resonate with its target market. The brand’s previous launches have included Simply Spiked Lemonade, which became the top new flavored alternative beverage in 2022, followed by Simply Spiked Peach in 2023 and Simply Spiked Limeade in 2024, both of which also received recognition in the market.
Currently, Simply Spiked Bold is available in convenience stores nationwide, offered in single-serve cans of 24oz and 16oz in select states.
