Graza, known for its popular olive oil products, has introduced a new cooking oil named Frizzle. This product is now available at select Whole Foods Market locations across the United States and through the Graza website. Frizzle is a single-origin cooking oil that can withstand high temperatures, with a smoke point reaching up to 490°F. It is made entirely from olives and is intended for various cooking methods including baking, grilling, and frying.

Frizzle is offered in three formats: a 750ml squeeze bottle for direct application into hot pans, a 5oz spray bottle suitable for greasing baking sheets and grilling, and a 2L jug designed for larger cooking tasks, which will soon be available online.

Andrew Benin, CEO and Co-Founder of Graza, stated, “Frizzle is a game-changer for Graza, opening the door for us to reach even more home cooks across the country.” He emphasized the product’s ability to enhance cooking confidence among users, noting that development began prior to the brand’s launch in January 2022.

The oil is crafted from a blend of olive pomace oil, which is produced from the leftovers of the first cold press of Graza’s other oils, and Graza Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This combination results in a higher quality alternative to conventional neutral oils. Frizzle is made using single varietal Picual olives that are harvested at their peak for optimal flavor and performance. It is extracted and refined without the use of chemicals or additives, ensuring a natural product. With its buttery yet neutral flavor profile, Frizzle aims to provide a healthier option compared to commonly used oils such as canola, vegetable, grapeseed, and avocado. All of Graza’s oils are sourced, processed, and bottled in Jaen, Spain.
