Beatbot, a prominent player in the robotic pool cleaning sector, has received the 2025 SEAL Business Sustainability Award for its innovative product, the Beatbot iSkim Ultra. This award, specifically the Sustainable Product Award, is notable as it marks the first time a robotic pool cleaner has been recognized in this manner, underscoring the company’s dedication to sustainability and innovation within the industry.
The SEAL Awards, which acknowledge organizations and individuals making significant strides in environmental sustainability, highlighted Beatbot’s ability to merge effective cleaning capabilities with eco-friendly practices. The Beatbot iSkim Ultra is designed to minimize environmental impact while delivering superior cleanliness. It achieves this through several advanced features, including the ClearWater Clarification System, which uses a natural clarifier derived from recycled crab shells to maintain clear pool water without introducing harmful chemicals.
Additionally, the iSkim Ultra incorporates solar technology, utilizing a 24W solar panel with SolarTrack light energy tracking to reduce energy consumption. This feature allows the device to harness sunlight for charging, thus lowering its carbon footprint. The product is also packaged in recyclable materials, further emphasizing Beatbot’s commitment to sustainability.
Equipped with 20 sensors and a six-axis IMU, the iSkim Ultra enables precise navigation and efficient cleaning. Its design includes dual-roller brushes and a large basket, enhancing its cleaning efficiency while reducing the need for frequent water changes.
York Guo, CMO of Beatbot, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating that it reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and innovation. He emphasized that choosing Beatbot products contributes to a broader effort toward environmental responsibility. This award not only recognizes Beatbot’s achievements but also acknowledges the partnership with users in striving for a sustainable future.
