Petcube, known for its innovations in connected pet technology, has announced the introduction of POPS, its first venture into non-tech products for pets. POPS are designed to enhance the snack and training experience for pets, focusing on health and taste. These treats are made with human-grade ingredients, aiming to offer a more nutritious and enjoyable snacking option for dogs of all sizes. They can also serve as an effective tool for positive reinforcement during training sessions.
Anastasia Kukhar, CEO of Petcube, highlighted the meticulous process behind the creation of POPS. Initially conceptualized to complement Petcube’s Bites cameras with their unique cubic shape and crumb-free consistency, the development of POPS transcended its original purpose. The treats were further refined to stand as premium offerings on their own, with or without the use of a Petcube device. According to Kukhar, the passion and dedication that go into the design of Petcube’s electronic products were equally applied to the creation of POPS, underscoring the company’s commitment to enhancing pet care.
Petcube POPS boast several notable features, including the use of a limited number of human-grade ingredients to ensure high quality and nutritional value. Each treat is fortified with vitamins E and C to support overall health and well-being, and at less than 2 calories per piece, they offer a guilt-free option for pet owners. The treats are available in three flavors: Rabbit (aimed at fur and skin care), Duck (for dental care), and Pumpkin (a vegetarian option). They are free from additives, preservatives, and fillers, highlighting Petcube’s focus on purity and nutrition.
Furthermore, POPS are designed to integrate seamlessly with Petcube’s Bites interactive pet cameras, allowing pet owners to remotely reward their pets. This feature enhances the interaction between pets and their owners, even when they are not physically together.
Petcube POPS are now available for purchase on the Petcube website, priced at $24.99. This launch represents a significant step for Petcube into the realm of pet nutrition, offering pet owners a premium, health-focused snacking option for their pets.
