iRobot has announced the launch of the Roomba Max 705 Vac Robot + AutoEmpty Dock, its most advanced vacuum model to date. Designed for pet owners and busy households, the new robot vacuum is now available in North America and select European markets.

The Max 705 Vac features 180x power-lifting suction, Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes, and an Edge-Sweeping Brush for cleaning carpets, hard floors, and hard-to-reach edges. Carpet Boost technology automatically increases suction on rugs and carpets, while PrecisionVision AI and ClearView Pro LiDAR technology help the vacuum map rooms and navigate around furniture and other obstacles.

The vacuum pairs with the AutoEmpty Dock, which can hold debris for up to 75 days, providing a near hands-free cleaning experience. Users can start a cleaning session via the robot, the Roomba Home app, or with a voice assistant. Later this year, the device will also become Matter-certified and compatible with the Apple Home app.

“The Roomba Max 705 Vac is a reflection of our deep commitment to delivering smarter, more efficient cleaning solutions that enhance our customers’ lives,” said iRobot CEO Gary Cohen.
