Kiehl’s has introduced its Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum, formulated for gentle daily use on the face, neck, under-eye area, crow’s feet, hands, and chest. The serum combines micro-dosed retinol to renew the skin surface, ceramides and emollients to fortify the skin barrier with moisture, and a peptide to help firm the look of skin.
In a 12-week clinical evaluation, expert grading found that 100% of participants showed reduced appearance of wrinkles in one or more target areas, and in a six-month consumer study, 94% agreed the formula was gentle enough for twice-daily application. The serum is designed for use after cleansing and should be followed by a moisturizer and a daytime sunscreen; Kiehl’s recommends Super Multi-Corrective Cream and Better Screen UV Serum SPF 50+ with Collagen Peptide for optimal results.
The launch accompanies Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Daily Triple Acid Peel, a lightweight, leave-on formula featuring an 8.6% blend of polyhydroxy, beta-hydroxy, and alpha-hydroxy acids balanced with copper gluconate to smooth texture, brighten complexion, and minimize the appearance of pores. After four weeks, 91% of users reported smoother skin, 88% reported more radiant skin, and 88% saw minimized pores in a consumer perception study.
Kiehl’s portfolio also includes Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution and Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate. In a 12-week clinical trial across 47 skin tones, 98% of subjects demonstrated a more even skin tone, 97% showed reduced dark spots and hyperpigmentation, and 93% noted improved luminosity with the dark spot solution. The line-reducing concentrate contains a 12.5% vitamin C blend plus fragmented hyaluronic acid; an eight-week clinical study showed visible improvements in skin texture and radiance.
