C +A Global, the North American licensee for Kodak, has introduced the Luma 500 FHD Ultra Smart Pico Projector with Google TV, expanding its portable projection lineup. The palm-sized device delivers 1080p full HD resolution, high dynamic range support and compatibility with 4K sources, projecting images up to 150 inches. Auto-focus and keystone correction simplify setup, while splash-resistant controls and a built-in tripod mount make the unit suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
The Luma 500 integrates Google TV and Google Assistant, allowing users to navigate menus and launch streaming services hands-free. Over 400,000 movies and shows from more than 10,000 apps are available through on-board apps, and voice commands can adjust volume, switch inputs or search for content. Wireless options include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with HDMI and USB ports for additional devices.
A two-hour rechargeable battery enables extended viewing sessions without an external power source, and the compact enclosure—offered in black or white—measures roughly the size of a smartphone. According to Jessica Bitran, public relations director at C +A Global, the Luma 500 represents “the latest evolution of our fan-favorite Luma line,” providing “unparalleled quality and capabilities in a portable package.”
Designed for a variety of use cases, the Luma 500 can create a home theater experience in a living room, deliver backyard movie nights, support on-the-road entertainment for van life or enhance campsite gatherings. The projector is available through authorized retailers and online channels, positioning Kodak’s Luma series as a versatile solution for users seeking a compact, feature-rich projection device.
