Kohler, a global leader in kitchen and bath design, has teamed up with Remedy Place, the social wellness brand, to create an immersive self-care pop-up at Design Miami. Taking place from December 2-6 at The Miami Beach EDITION hotel, the Kohler x Remedy Place Beach Club introduces attendees to innovative wellness experiences, including the debut of the Kohler x Remedy Place Ice Bath.
The event features guided breathwork and ice bathing sessions for up to four participants, complemented by live music and wellness-focused food and beverages. The Ice Bath, developed in collaboration with Dr. Jonathan Leary, CEO of Remedy Place, offers advanced features such as precision temperature control, UV-powered filtration, and ergonomic design. It is certified for indoor and outdoor use and will be available for preorder on Kohler’s website, with shipments starting in Spring 2025.
The Beach Club installation highlights the Ice Bath’s design and functionality in an outdoor setting, featuring furnishings from B&B Italia and surfaces by Cosentino. The Kohler x Remedy Place Ice Bath reimagines cold therapy with an emphasis on luxury and accessibility.
KLAFS Sauna and Arts/Industry Highlights
In addition to the Ice Bath, Kohler will showcase its KLAFS luxury sauna brand at the Design Miami fair. The KLAFS S11 Sauna, developed in partnership with Studio F.A. Porsche, features frameless glass, curved seating, and backlit Washi paper for a sensory experience that combines light, sound, and warmth.
Kohler will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Arts/Industry program with a Design Miami Design Talk and an exhibition titled Makers in Place: Kohler Celebrates 50 Years of Arts/Industry. The panel discussion, moderated by Glenn Adamson, will explore the intersection of art and manufacturing, featuring artists and curators who have participated in the residency program.
