LILYSILK is stepping into activewear with the launch of Silkerry, a new line built around the company’s silk-enhanced terry fabric. Positioned for studio-to-street wear, the collection aims to pair the polish of luxury materials with the practicality that modern wardrobes demand.
At the core is a reworked terry knit that places natural silk fibers against the skin and cotton terry on the exterior. The silk side is engineered for a smooth hand that minimizes friction and supports freshness, while silk’s high thermal conductivity helps pull heat away to keep wearers cool during movement. The cotton outer adds structure and breathability, with a focus on shape retention through repeated wash and wear.
The launch reflects LILYSILK’s read on shifting habits over the past decade and a half, as performance pieces become everyday staples. “Activewear isn’t just for the gym anymore. As fitness, work, and life blend seamlessly, people expect apparel that delivers both style and elegance,” said David Wang, CEO of LILYSILK.
Silkerry arrives in three design directions with distinct silhouettes. Seamflow leans into urban rhythm and clean lines, highlighted by the oversized Verge Hoodie. Porchlight focuses on relaxed ease, including soft-waist lounge shorts built for home-to-café transitions. Heirloom ’89 nods to vintage sport with a roomy zip jacket meant for confident layering. Each line comes in four colorways: Black, Heather, Espresso, and Blush Pink.
For LILYSILK, the move extends a brand known for premium silks into a category where fabric touch, temperature regulation, and longevity matter as much as looks. By weaving silk into a workhorse knit, the company is betting that comfort and quiet performance can elevate everyday active pieces without sacrificing style.
