This collection is handcrafted in Aurora, NY, and is characterized by its vibrant and playful designs, aimed at enhancing the joy of entertaining. The pieces in this collection are notable for their cheerful mix of colors and patterns, including a new ceramic hue that complements MacKenzie-Childs’ existing Royal Check collection.
The new line includes a variety of items designed to enrich any tablescape. It features items such as berry bowls, a teacup and plate set, a multi-functional sugar bowl, a decorative cake stand, and a vase. These pieces incorporate fluted edges and are available in a color palette of blue, green, teal, and white, which coordinates with classic pieces from MacKenzie-Childs, allowing for a seamless integration into existing collections.
Rebecca Proctor, Chief Brand Officer and Creative Director at MacKenzie-Childs, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with Gen Sohr, citing a shared appreciation for vibrant design and entertaining. She noted that this collection builds on the success of a previous ceramic line and reflects the company’s rich history in pottery.
The collection includes Berry Bowls priced at $79 each or $199 for a set of three, a Serving Platter for $169, a Cake Stand for $249, a Sugar Bowl for $149, a Teacup for $99, a Small Plate for $59, and an Everyday Vase for $149. Gen Sohr hopes these handmade items will become treasured heirlooms, bringing a sense of surprise and delight to daily table settings.
The MacKenzie-Childs x Pencil & Paper Co. Ceramic Capsule Collection will be available for a limited time starting April 24, both online at mackenzie-childs.com, in stores, and through select independent retailers.
