Maruchan, America’s top instant-noodle brand, has expanded its premium GOLD lineup with the launch of Spicy Tonkotsu, a fiery twist on the rich pork-bone ramen broth. The new variety features Maruchan’s air-dried noodles—dehydrated rather than fried in oil—to deliver a restaurant-quality chew and texture at home. Each package includes a traditional Japanese seasoning blend and a separate spice packet that lets fans dial up the heat to their taste.
“Korean and Japanese ramen lovers told us they were craving bolder, spicier flavors without losing the authentic tonkotsu experience,” said Katelyn Stokes, Marketing Director at Maruchan. “With Spicy Tonkotsu, we’re giving them the best of both worlds: genuine ramen craftsmanship and a kick of heat.”
Since its 2019 debut, the GOLD line’s Soy Sauce and Spicy Miso flavors have rolled out to more than 1,500 Walmart stores nationwide. Spicy Tonkotsu will be sold in five-pack bundles exclusively on Amazon, inviting adventurous eaters across the country to enjoy a next-level instant ramen experience.
