McDonald’s has announced the launch of its new value platform, McValue, set to roll out nationwide on January 7, 2025. Designed to offer a range of customizable and affordable options, McValue includes fan-favorites such as the $5 Meal Deal, exclusive in-app offers, and regional promotions, as well as a new Buy One, Add One for $1 deal.
The Buy One, Add One for $1 feature allows customers to mix and match menu items at a reduced price. Guests can purchase one full-priced item from the McValue menu and add a second item for just $1. The breakfast options include items like the Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito, and Hash Browns. For lunch and dinner, choices include the 6-piece Chicken McNuggets, Double Cheeseburger, McChicken, and Small Fries.
The $5 Meal Deal, now part of the McValue platform, will continue to be available through the summer of 2025. It features a choice of McDouble or McChicken, small fries, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink for $5. McValue will also include ongoing local and in-app deals tailored to community preferences, providing further savings opportunities.
Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, highlighted the importance of flexible value offerings, stating that McValue is designed to let customers define value on their own terms. Cory Watson, McDonald’s Owner/Operator and National Value Chair for 2025, emphasized the collaboration between franchisees and corporate leadership to deliver affordable options tailored to local communities.
