Today at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona, Jeep Performance Parts by Mopar revealed the Awning and Rooftop Tent concept for the four-door Wrangler. Developed in partnership with Dometic, the all-in-one system is housed in a lightweight carbon-fiber shell that mounts directly to the roof, eliminating the need for a heavy rack. The integrated awning swings out 270 degrees, while the rooftop tent uses Dometic’s AIR Frame Inflation technology to pitch quickly and comfortably sleep two on a queen-size mattress. Adventurers can even enter the tent through the Wrangler’s removed freedom panels, and an interior carbon-fiber step protects the center console during entry.

The concept is displayed on the Wrangler 4xe Sunchaser, the solar-flash two-tone prototype first shown at the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari. The Sunchaser features a two-inch lift, vented high-top steel fender flares, side storage boxes with MOLLE panels, a Warn winch and custom guard, 37-inch mud-terrain tires, rock rails and a roof rack. Inside, custom two-tone leather seats, gloss-black trim, all-weather mats and an IP multi-accessory rail enhance functionality.

The ARTT system was born from Stellantis’s Star*Up intrapreneurship program, which empowers employees to design innovative mobility products.
