Reckitt’s Mucinex Children’s, the leading pediatrician and pharmacist recommended over-the-counter brand for children’s cough and cold relief, has introduced Mucinex Children’s Mighty Chews Cold & Flu, the first chewable OTC medicine designed to relieve multiple pediatric cold and flu symptoms in a single format. The new line includes Daytime chews, which temporarily relieve fever, cough, headache, sore throat, and body pain, and Nighttime chews, which also address runny nose and sneezing. Both mixed berry flavored formulas provide trusted symptom relief without the need for measuring, pouring, or cleaning associated with liquid medications.
Each chew is formulated with active ingredients selected to target common cold and flu symptoms, and Reckitt’s research and development team collaborated with internal and external partners to establish precise analytical methods, ensuring consistent active ingredient content in every chew. Pediatrician Dr. Gabriella Dauer said the chewable format was developed to ease the difficulties parents face when administering medicine to children who are already unwell.
