My Better Batch’s Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix has been named a winner in Good Housekeeping’s 2025 Snack Awards, an annual list that spotlights innovative ready-to-eat and at-home food products. The honor comes just 14 months after the North Carolina-based brand entered the market with a baking mix that requires only butter and an egg yet promises from-scratch flavor.
Founder and chief executive Lindsay Hancock, a former KIND Snacks executive, developed the mix as a time-saving option for families who want fresh cookies without sourcing premium ingredients or washing multiple bowls. Hancock said the Good Housekeeping recognition is “a major milestone” for the company and evidence of growing consumer demand for streamlined home-baking solutions.
Since launch, My Better Batch has expanded distribution beyond its direct-to-consumer site to Amazon and Thrive Market. The company says additional brick-and-mortar placements are set for the third and fourth quarters of 2025, though specific retailers have not been disclosed. The brand’s quick growth reflects a broader trend of convenience-focused pantry staples gaining traction with parents, college students, and working professionals who lack time for traditional scratch baking.
Good Housekeeping editors evaluated hundreds of products for taste, ingredient quality, and consumer appeal. The full list of winners is available at the publication’s website. My Better Batch plans to leverage the award in upcoming marketing and retail outreach as it continues to scale nationally.
