Nékter Juice Bar is introducing three new limited-time offerings this summer, combining the nutritional benefits of pitaya, also known as dragon fruit, and passion fruit. This collaboration with Pitaya Foods, a longstanding partner, features the Pitaya Passion Smoothie, Pitaya Passion Bowl, and Pitaya Frozen Lemonade, available from May 30 to July 31, 2024, at Nékter Juice Bar’s 210 locations nationwide. Nékter Rewards members can access these new items early starting May 23.
Pitaya Foods, known for its sustainable farming practices in Nicaragua, has been working with Nékter Juice Bar for several years to source organic pitaya. The company has helped more than 800 farms achieve USDA Organic certification and created over 170 jobs for local Nicaraguan single mothers.
The new offerings are designed to provide a nutritious and flavorful experience. The Pitaya Passion Smoothie includes Nékter’s housemade cashew milk, pitaya, passion fruit, strawberry, and agave. The Pitaya Passion Bowl combines pineapple, pitaya, passion fruit, cashew milk, agave, and is topped with hemp seed granola. The Pitaya Frozen Lemonade blends pitaya, lemon, and agave for a refreshing treat.
Pitaya is rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, magnesium, and fiber, offering various health benefits. Similarly, passion fruit is a good source of Vitamins C and A, antioxidants, and immune-boosting properties.

In celebration of the summer launch, Nékter Juice Bar and Pitaya Foods are hosting a “Journey to Paradise” sweepstakes. The grand prize is a five-night trip to Miramar Surf Camp in Playa Miramar, Leon, Nicaragua, with airfare and transportation included. Participants can enter the sweepstakes by visiting the Nékter Juice Bar website or scanning a QR code at participating locations between May 30 and July 31.
