Nissan has introduced a digital concept of a sports SUV called the Nissan Hyper Adventure, aimed at individuals who are enthusiastic about outdoor activities and eco-friendly living. The concept vehicle is equipped with V2X (vehicle-to-everything) technology, designed to meet electricity needs in various settings while being environmentally responsible.
The vehicle’s primary focus is to cater to the diverse requirements of outdoor enthusiasts. It features a large-capacity battery that can serve as an energy source for powering gadgets, illuminating campsites, or recharging electric jet skis. The V2X technology also allows the vehicle to supply power to homes (V2H) and contribute excess energy back to the grid (V2G).
For challenging terrains such as snowy mountain passes or muddy trails, the Nissan Hyper Adventure comes with an advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel-control system to ensure a smooth and safe journey. The exterior of the vehicle is designed with dynamic body panels and a distinctive diagonal line on the side, emphasizing the spacious cabin. The vehicle also incorporates features for high aerodynamic performance, including a front spoiler that redirects air flow and glass that integrates the roof and side windows. Additionally, the wheels and bumpers are equipped with crampons for enhanced traction in snowy conditions.
The interior is designed for comfort and utility in various driving conditions. It includes a unique instrument panel that connects to the bottom of the windshield, providing a wide field of view. The vehicle also offers ample cargo space for outdoor equipment like tents, skis, or kayaks. A notable feature is the rear bench seat, which can rotate 180 degrees to face the rear of the vehicle, useful for camping or enjoying scenic views. This feature is complemented by automatic extendable and retractable steps.
The Nissan Hyper Adventure concept aims to offer a comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient solution for a wide range of outdoor activities. The concept will be showcased digitally at the Japan Mobility Show.
