The collaboration will feature Nutella in the new Hallmark original movie Deck the Walls, premiering on November 29 at 8 PM ET as part of the network’s Countdown to Christmas. Starring Ashley Greene, Wes Brown, and Danny Pellegrino, the film showcases Nutella in a festive baking scene, where the characters create Holiday Cutout Cookies using the popular hazelnut spread.
Nutella’s Senior Vice President, Noah Szporn, emphasized the brand’s focus on fostering togetherness during the holidays, inviting families to bake alongside the movie premiere. Ed Georger, EVP of Ad Sales at Hallmark Media, expressed excitement over the partnership, highlighting the shared goal of creating memorable moments for viewers.
To complement the film, Nutella has shared a recipe for Holiday Cutout Cookies, combining simple ingredients with Nutella for an easy and festive treat. The cookies are crafted by sandwiching a layer of Nutella between decorative cutouts, offering a creative twist on traditional holiday baking.
Beyond the movie, Nutella is hosting a “Guess the Movie” trivia game on Instagram starting November 18. The game will feature recipes inspired by iconic holiday films, encouraging fans to engage with the brand for a chance to win surprises.
