Odyssey Golf has unveiled its new Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter series, emphasizing zero torque for a consistent stroke. The lineup includes Tour-proven models such as Jailbird, #7, and Double Wide, designed to provide more stability and minimize face rotation during putting.
The putters feature a center-shafted design that is stroke balanced, keeping the face square throughout a golfer’s stroke. This configuration positions the shaft above the head’s center of gravity, creating a toe-up resting position—contrasting with traditional toe-hang putters. Built-in forward press is another key element, with 3.3° of forward shaft lean presetting the hands to avoid face opening during a forward press.
Odyssey’s Ai-ONE Insert combines an aluminum backer with a White Hot Urethane striking surface to maintain consistent ball speeds across the face while retaining the classic White Hot feel. The lightweight SL 90 shaft incorporates 20-30 grams of counterbalance weight, enhancing stability during the stroke.
Jacob Davidson, Odyssey’s General Manager and Callaway’s VP of Global Product Strategy, highlighted the putter’s advantages, stating that the combination of the center shaft, familiar shapes, and the Ai-ONE Insert sets this series apart in the growing zero-torque category.
