Osprey Packs has announced the launch of its new Poco Soft Child Carriers, set to be available in Spring 2025. Known for their high-performance carry solutions, Osprey is introducing two models, the Poco Soft Child Carrier and the Poco Soft Child Carrier LT, designed to support family adventures with advanced features and a focus on sustainability.

The Poco Soft Child Carriers are engineered with the same precision as Osprey’s outdoor backpacks. These carriers are the first certified bluesign PRODUCT child carriers on the market, highlighting the company’s commitment to environmentally friendly products. The standard Poco Soft Child Carrier is priced at $135 and is made from bluesign approved, 100% recycled 210 high tenacity ripstop nylon, suitable for rugged trails and extended outdoor activities. The LT model, priced at $120, uses bluesign approved, 100% recycled 210D dobby nylon, making it ideal for everyday use.

Designed for comfort and safety, the Poco Soft Child Carriers feature a 3D ventilated mesh fabric on the hipbelt, shoulder straps, and child seat to ensure breathability. Additional child-friendly features include a padded, breathable headrest that can be folded away, removable drool pads on the shoulder straps, and a fail-safe tab on the hipbelt for secure wear. Both models are machine washable and can support up to 33 pounds.

The carriers offer three carrying positions to accommodate a child’s growth: facing in for newborns, facing out for infants, and back carry for older children. This adaptability allows families to use the carriers as their children grow. The introduction of these new models complements Osprey’s existing line of framed Poco carriers and upcoming Poco accessories, including a changing backpack, tote, and mat, set to launch in Fall 2024.

The Osprey Packs Poco Soft Child Carriers will be available starting January 2025 on the Osprey website and at specialty retailers in over 60 countries. Prices are based on the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices.
