PackIt has introduced two freezable soft-sided coolers just in time for summer adventures. The new 12-can tote cooler and Newport cooler both feature the company’s patented ECOFREEZE Technology built into their walls, enabling them to keep food and drinks chilled for hours without ice packs or loose ice. With lightweight designs and generous interiors, the coolers offer a practical alternative to traditional bulky hard-sided coolers for beach days, picnics or family hikes.
The 12-can tote cooler holds up to 12 standard cans in its 10.4-liter interior and includes a leakproof welded liner with built-in antimicrobial protection. It comes with a sturdy shoulder strap, zippered closure and an external pocket to stow keys or utensils, and is offered in poppy, seaside stripe and charcoal hues. The Newport cooler expands capacity to 16 cans within a 9.9-liter space, featuring a wide-mouth opening with a lay-back lid, internal mesh pocket and side slip pocket for organizing essentials. It folds flat for storage and is available in azure blue, papaya and black.
Both bags use ecofriendly gel layers inside the walls to freeze and maintain cold temperatures without extra weight, and their durable liners wipe clean after every use. PackIt designer Nicole Stanley said the goal was to simplify customers’ lives by combining sleek design with high-performance cooling, eliminating the mess and bulk of conventional coolers.
The freezable tote cooler is priced at $39.99 and the Newport cooler at $54.99, and both are available for purchase now at PackIt.com and on Amazon, with in-store availability expected later this summer.
