Pair Eyewear, a leading direct-to-consumer customizable eyewear brand, has launched a Harry Potter collection developed in partnership with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products. The collaboration introduces 28 new frame designs inspired by characters, locations and motifs from the Harry Potter franchise, offering fans a personalized way to express their fandom through eyewear.
Since its founding in 2017 by Stanford undergraduates Nathan Kondamuri and Sophia Edelstein, Pair Eyewear has built a following through monthly limited-edition drops and licensed collections. The brand’s patented customization technology allows wearers to swap temple arms, front frames and lenses to suit their style or mood. Following expansions into the UK and Australia last year, the company opened a second manufacturing facility in Irvine, California, to support growing demand.
The Harry Potter collection builds on Pair Eyewear’s strategy of combining pop-culture licensing with modular design. Each top frame features subtle references to Hogwarts houses, magical creatures or iconic symbols, while compatible temple arms and lens options enable further personalization. Additional patents are expected later this year to expand the brand’s customization capabilities.
Pair Eyewear’s co-chief executive officers said the new collection reflects the company’s mission to bring joy and creative expression to a category often defined by standard, mass-market options. The frames will be available online, with select styles slated for future in-store pop-up events.
