Pedigree, part of the Mars family of brands, has introduced Pedigree Drizzlers sauce, a mealtime topping designed to enhance the flavor and texture of dry dog food. The launch responds to sustained double-digit growth in the pet meal-complement category, as owners seek new ways to enrich their pets’ dining experience without adding significant mess or cost. Drizzlers sauce comes in convenient squeeze bottles and is formulated for canine taste preferences, offering a simple way to drizzle flavor over standard kibble.
To mark the debut, Pedigree will host a “Sauce for All Dogs” event on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET at a pop-up hot dog stand in Central Park, New York. While pet parents enjoy traditional hot dogs with condiments, their dogs will receive free kibble topped with Pedigree Drizzlers. The campaign features Summer House television personality West Wilson, who has teamed up with Pedigree to encourage visitors—both two- and four-legged—to sample the new sauce offering during the outdoor luncheon.
“Sauce is key to adding flavor, and dogs can now enjoy a tasty mealtime with a sauce of their own,” said Wilson. “After learning that many dogs eat their meals without any sauce, I realized how much I wanted to help make mealtime more exciting for pets across the country.”
Pedigree Drizzlers is available nationwide in pet stores and online, providing a low-mess, affordable option for owners looking to vary their pets’ diets with new flavors. The product launch and Central Park activation underscore Pedigree’s commitment to innovation in canine nutrition and mealtime enjoyment.
