Pepsi has introduced a new promotional campaign, “Pepsi Chase Cars,” aimed at encouraging consumers to pair their pizza with Pepsi. The campaign highlights the brand’s ongoing effort to promote the idea that pizza tastes better when enjoyed with Pepsi. As part of the promotion, Pepsi will offer tens of thousands of free pizzas to customers who choose to “chase their pizza” with a Pepsi product, such as Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, Diet Pepsi, or Pepsi Wild Cherry.
The offer is available through DoorDash on September 13, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET. To qualify for the free pizza, customers must place an order that includes a 2-liter or 20-ounce bottle of Pepsi and meet a minimum order amount. Participating pizza chains include Little Caesars, with a minimum order of $30, and both Papa Johns and Pizza Hut, each with a minimum order of $40. The offer is available while supplies last, and terms apply.
In addition to the pizza promotion, Pepsi has launched a series of humorous videos showcasing “Pepsi Chase Cars.” These videos depict Pepsi-branded vehicles arriving at pizza deliveries to ensure that the pizza is accompanied by an ice-cold Pepsi. The content, created in collaboration with BBDO Worldwide, is part of Pepsi’s #BetterWithPepsi platform and can be viewed on various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
