Polaris, a prominent manufacturer of premium automatic pool cleaners, has expanded its range of robotic pool cleaners with the introduction of new cordless models designed to serve various types of backyard pools and spas. The new lineup includes the FREEDOM Plus, PIXEL, and Spabot, building on the initial release of the FREEDOM model, which was the brand’s first cordless robotic pool cleaner launched last spring.
The Polaris FREEDOM Plus is an advanced version of the original FREEDOM model, featuring LiFi technology that enables communication with the cleaner underwater. It includes a remote control that uses light pulses for directing the cleaner’s movements, allowing pool owners to start or stop the cleaner, direct its cleaning path, or summon it to the surface for easy removal. The FREEDOM Plus is compatible with the iAquaLink app and offers multiple cleaning modes, and comes with a premium outdoor-rated charging caddy for easy transport and charging.
The Polaris PIXEL is a compact cordless robotic cleaner designed for above-ground and simple in-ground pools. It operates with a single button start and completes its cleaning cycle autonomously. Once finished, the PIXEL remains submerged by the pool wall until retrieved with a standard pool pole.
The Spabot, described as the first-ever automatic spa cleaner, features SpaNav Technology, which allows it to navigate tight spaces in in-ground spas and portable hot tubs. This technology helps the cleaner move over various spa surfaces, including floors, walls, benches, and concave seating. The Spabot is fully automatic and cordless, cleaning within 60 minutes and surfacing automatically for easy removal and recharging.
All models in this new lineup from Polaris are powered by durable lithium-ion batteries and feature brushes designed to agitate and remove stuck-on dirt from surfaces, ensuring thorough cleaning across different pool and spa types.
