Popeyes has added its official Signature Sauce to menus across the US and Canada as a permanent dipping option. Developed over five years and inspired by the Louisiana holy trinity of bell pepper, celery and onion with garlic and a hint of hot sauce, the creamy sauce is packaged in a round cup designed for easy dipping. It complements a range of menu items, including Cajun fries, chicken sandwiches, wings and wraps.
The sauce debuts alongside the limited-time Chicken Dippers, made with thin strips of all-white breast meat hand-battered in Popeyes’ Louisiana garlic and spice blend. Priced at $4.99, the dippers pair perfectly with the new sauce and offer a high-flavor snack option for solo diners, groups or on-the-go customers.
Popeyes has also introduced an exclusive digital “Build Your Own Bundle” feature in its app and online, allowing guests to select any three proteins and two sides for $20. The chain said this tool makes group ordering more flexible and convenient.
Chef Amy Alarcon, vice president of culinary innovation at Popeyes, said the signature sauce is a “monumental moment” for the brand and reflects its Cajun roots. While Chicken Dippers are available for a limited time, Popeyes confirmed that the Signature Sauce will remain on the menu permanently.
