Sara Lee Artesano has announced the addition of Hawaiian Bakery Bread and Buns to its portfolio. This new variety, available as sliced bread and buns, aims to bring Hawaiian flavors to the Artesano lineup. The Hawaiian Bread and Buns are made with premium ingredients, free from artificial flavors, preservatives, and high fructose corn syrup, offering a sweet, tropical taste.
To celebrate the launch, Sara Lee Artesano is hosting a “Taste of Paradise” pop-up event in Miami at Mary Brickell Village on Friday, May 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Attendees can sample recipes made with the new Hawaiian Bread and Buns. The event will feature a lei-maker and a digital photobooth. Additionally, one attendee will be randomly selected to win a trip to Hawaii.
Chef Lee Anne Wong, a Hawaii-based chef, has partnered with Sara Lee Artesano to design the event’s menu. Wong is known for her use of local ingredients and modern techniques. Her restaurant in Lahaina was destroyed in the 2023 Maui wildfires, and Sara Lee Artesano has donated $10,000 to support her efforts to rebuild and give back to the Hawaiian community.
Ana Melo, Brand Manager of Artesano, expressed excitement about the new product and the upcoming event, noting that the company continually innovates based on consumer preferences. The Hawaiian Bread and Buns are intended to bring a taste of Hawaii to consumers’ homes.
