Smashburger is expanding its shake menu with two new banana-inspired options: the Banana Shake and the Banana Chocolatey Chip Shake. Both are made with Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream and real banana purée, offering a creamy and nostalgic flavor profile for summer.

The Banana Chocolatey Chip Shake includes Denali chocolatey chips blended into the shake and sprinkled on top, finished with whipped cream. Customers can also add chocolatey chips to any shake for an additional 50 cents, with the chips melting into the mix for a smooth texture.

The new shakes are available now at Smashburger locations nationwide and join the chain’s existing lineup of classic hand-spun flavors, such as Chocolate, Strawberry, Oreo Cookies & Cream, and Salted Caramel.

To celebrate the launch, Smashburger is bringing back its Shake Happy Hour. From May 2 through July 31, customers can get 50% off any shake on Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m. with any purchase using the code SHAKES25, valid for in-store, online, and app orders.

According to Smashburger founder Tom Ryan, the new shakes are meant to bring bold flavor and a touch of nostalgia. “The rich banana flavor mixed with chocolatey chips that melt into every sip makes these shakes fun, refreshing, and the perfect way to sip into summer,” he said.
