The Arizona Bowl has announced a groundbreaking sponsorship agreement with Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop, marking the first time an alcohol brand is a presenting sponsor for an NCAA Bowl Game. The event will now be titled “Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop” and is scheduled for December 28, 2024, at 2:30 PM MST. This partnership is also notable as it introduces Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop, a ready-to-drink alcohol product launched by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, named after Snoop’s 1994 hit song from the album Doggystyle.
Snoop Dogg expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting his connection to college football through the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL), which has helped propel over 40 players into the NFL. The league also includes the Snoop Special Stars program for children with disabilities. Snoop plans to promote the new Gin & Juice flavors at the game, which will also feature various events in Tucson, including charity functions and a youth football game termed the SNOOPER Bowl.
Patrick Halbert, CEO of Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop, along with the brand’s Chief Strategy Officer, Andrew Gill, both affirmed the natural alignment of their brand with the Arizona Bowl. Kym Adair, Executive Director of the Arizona Bowl, highlighted the unique combination of sports, entertainment, and libations that this partnership will bring to the game.
This sponsorship is the second collaboration between the Arizona Bowl and Playfly Premier Partnerships, a division of the sports media and marketing agency Playfly Sports. The Arizona Bowl is distinctive in that it donates all net proceeds to charity and has one of the largest “Hero” recognition programs in the nation.
