In celebration of Disney’s upcoming live-action Lilo & Stitch film, the SPAM brand has introduced three limited-edition cans featuring Hawaiian-inspired artwork from the beloved story. Available now at major retailers nationwide, the collectible cans contain the classic SPAM product that has long been a staple in Hawaiian cuisine. The film premieres exclusively in theaters on May 23.
This collaboration brings together two icons with deep cultural ties to Hawai‘i—SPAM and Stitch. Fans can expect the cans to sell quickly, as each design showcases characters and scenes that evoke the movie’s themes of family and tradition.
To support the launch, a 15-second national commercial will begin airing May 5 across streaming platforms, online video, and social media. The ad celebrates the connection between the SPAM brand and Disney, highlighting their shared legacy of family appeal and multi-generational fandom.
Daniel Kubiak, senior brand manager for the SPAM brand, emphasized the alignment between the two brands and their role in bringing families together: “Whether watching the film or creating their favorite SPAM dish in the kitchen, we’re excited to celebrate Ohana through this special collaboration.”
The cans are available for a limited time while supplies last.
