The annual Sport Clips Haircuts National Huddle has marked a significant turning point for franchisees, stylists, and clients, emphasizing growth and enhanced support across the board. At this year’s event, Edward Logan, CEO and President, spoke to an audience of over 3,000 team members from the U.S. and Canada. He outlined a vision of accelerated growth and enhanced brand experience aimed at benefiting clients, store owners, and stylists.
Logan highlighted that after more than 30 years of leading in men’s and boys’ hair care, Sport Clips is stepping up its support for franchisees and stylists as business levels return to pre-pandemic norms. This initiative includes increased support for new and loyal clients and for store owners thriving within their communities. He underscored the transformative impact this year would have on the brand.
The Huddle serves as a crucial platform for stylists and owners to support one another, share knowledge, and celebrate achievements at individual, store, and brand levels. Highlights from the Huddle showcased Sport Clips’ commitment to innovation, particularly in using technology to enhance client experiences and provide franchisees with robust data to support local store growth. The brand’s investment in training its team members, especially through the exclusive “5 Point Play” cutting system, was also emphasized.
Notable was the implementation of SupportLinc, a suite of employee assistance programs that provided over 9,000 counseling sessions, helping 90 percent of participants report improvements. This initiative has saved the system over $1.3 million in various costs. Additionally, economic recovery has spurred a surge in growth and interest among potential franchisees and stylists, some of whom aspire to franchise ownership.
Sport Clips also continues its charitable efforts through its Haircuts with Heart initiative, raising significant funds for various causes and providing substantial volunteer support.
