Subway and Doritos have announced a collaboration to introduce Doritos Footlong Nachos, a new snack available nationwide for a limited time. Priced at $5, this offering combines Doritos Nacho Cheese flavored chips with ingredients commonly found in Subway sandwiches, including Cheddar Cheese sauce, shredded Monterey cheddar cheese, jalapeno slices, diced tomatoes, red onions, and Baja Chipotle sauce.
Customers have the option to include rotisserie-style chicken, sliced steak, or just vegetables and cheese. Additionally, a scoop of smashed avocado can be added for an extra charge. On April 10, Subway MVP Rewards members will have the opportunity to receive a free Doritos Footlong Nachos with the purchase of any footlong sub.
Paul Fabre, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Innovation at Subway, stated, “Subway’s newest partnership takes everything our fans love about Subway sandwiches – from quality veggies, proteins and tasty toppings – to the next level with the cheesy flavor and iconic crunch of Doritos.” Scott Finlow, Chief Marketing Officer for PepsiCo Away From Home, also commented on the collaboration, emphasizing the combination of flavors and textures. This promotion aims to enhance the snacking experience for customers while incorporating popular elements from both brands.
