This remote aims to provide greater convenience and connectivity for users by allowing control of a wide range of infrared devices, such as TVs, air conditioners, lights, fans, DVD players, and projectors. The remote’s infrared code library, updated every six months, supports up to 83,934 remote control models. It also integrates with various SwitchBot devices and other platforms like Apple TV and Fire TV, consolidating smart home functionalities into one device. The SwitchBot Universal Remote can be used without a smartphone, smart assistant, or internet connection, making it accessible for all family members and guests.
When used with SwitchBot Hub 2 or Hub Mini Matter Enabled, the SwitchBot Universal Remote supports Matter, allowing users to control not only SwitchBot products but also other smart home devices from brands supporting Matter. This integration offers a unified smart home experience.
The SwitchBot Universal Remote features extensive device control, customizable scenes, Matter support, a user-friendly design, long-lasting durability, and offline control. It has a 2.4-inch LCD screen, a Touch Wheel dial, large buttons, and a compact size, making it easy to use. The 2000mAh battery ensures the remote can last up to 150 days on a single charge, withstanding over 100,000 presses. Users can also control infrared appliances and SwitchBot Bluetooth devices without an internet connection, maintaining smart home functionality regardless of network status.
