Vytanutra has introduced LiqLutein, a liquid dietary supplement designed to deliver lutein and zeaxanthin in a 10-to-2 ratio for routine eye care. The formulation combines these carotenoids with flaxseed oil, vitamin A, and zinc, ingredients commonly associated with macular support, tear-film stability, and low-light vision. According to the company, the product is encapsulated using a cold-seal process that limits heat exposure during manufacturing, a step intended to preserve nutrient potency and improve shelf life.
The company positions the liquid format as an alternative to conventional softgels and tablets, noting that the suspension is meant to dissolve quickly after ingestion. Each serving provides 10 milligrams of lutein and 2 milligrams of zeaxanthin. Flaxseed oil supplies omega-3 fatty acids that may help maintain ocular surface moisture, while vitamin A and zinc contribute to retinal enzyme activity and photoreceptor function. Vytanutra states that the formulation was developed in response to increased screen use, which exposes users to blue light that is concentrated on the macula.
LiqLutein is produced in single-serve doses and is labeled for daily use. The company reports that the supplement is manufactured in a facility following current Good Manufacturing Practice standards and is free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Distribution begins this month through Vytanutra’s direct-to-consumer website, with additional online retailers expected later in the year. Pricing information was not disclosed.
