Welch’s Fruit Snacks and Crayola have launched a nationwide back-to-school campaign that spotlights teachers through limited-edition interactive packaging and a Thank You Teacher Sweepstakes. The packaging invites families to nominate educators who have made a difference in their lives, and each box includes fruit-themed line art to be colored with Crayola crayons, markers or pencils as well as a panel for personal notes.

Under the sweepstakes, 250 nominated teachers will receive gift cards for classroom supplies, and one grand-prize winner’s school will be awarded a $10,000 makeover plus a supply of Crayola products. The effort aims to recognize teachers’ role in inspiring creativity and shaping young learners before the school year begins.

The back-to-school boxes feature Welch’s Fruit Snacks’ Mixed Fruit, Berries ’n Cherries and Fruit Punch varieties, all made with real, whole fruit as the first ingredient and colored exclusively from natural sources for the first time. This rollout marks a key milestone in the brand’s decade-long transition to natural colors, which began in 2018 with products such as Summer Fruits and Mango-Peach.

Jason Levine, chief marketing officer at PIM Brands, said the partnership with Crayola reflects a commitment to putting “what matters most first,” while Nicole Ayers, business unit director at General Mills, highlighted the collaboration as an opportunity to celebrate educators nationwide. The limited-edition boxes are available in 10-count and 40-count Mixed Fruit and Berries ’n Cherries packs, plus a 22-count Mixed Fruit, Berries ’n Cherries & Fruit Punch combo, at retailers including Walmart, Target and HEB while supplies last.
