Wendy’s has announced the launch of its new Saucy Nuggets, offering seven distinct flavors. These nuggets will be available in restaurants nationwide starting Monday, June 10. Digital customers can access them earlier, beginning Monday, June 3, by ordering through the Wendy’s app or website for pick-up or delivery. Wendy’s has also temporarily lowered the in-app delivery fee to $0 for this week.
John Li, Global Vice President of Culinary Innovation at The Wendy’s Company, emphasized that this new product aims to enhance the flavor experience of Wendy’s nuggets. The Saucy Nuggets are designed to cater to various tastes and preferences, with flavors ranging from mild to intense.
The seven available flavors include Honey BBQ, Garlic Parm, Buffalo, Spicy Honey BBQ, Spicy Garlic Parm, Spicy Buffalo, and Spicy Ghost Pepper. Each flavor is intended to complement Wendy’s existing crispy and spicy chicken nuggets. Sizes range from 4-piece to 20-piece servings.
Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company, highlighted the brand’s intent to provide more flavor options for their fans through this new offering.
Customers can start ordering Saucy Nuggets through the Wendy’s app or website for pick-up or delivery starting June 3, with a nationwide restaurant release on June 10.
