Zafro has introduced a new portable air conditioner designed for exceptionally quiet performance and energy efficiency in modern homes. The unit operates as quietly as 42 dB(A) in sleep mode, thanks to advanced aerodynamic casing, a low-vibration dual-cylinder inverter compressor and multi-layer acoustic insulation. This noise reduction makes it suitable for bedrooms and family rooms where undisturbed rest is essential.
The Zafro Portable AC achieves a certified CEER rating of 12.8, adjusting its cooling output dynamically to match room temperature and user settings. This inverter technology typically saves 20 to 30 percent more electricity than traditional fixed-speed models. The system uses R32 refrigerant, which has a low global warming potential.
A self-evaporation feature disperses condensate back onto the condenser coil, and in environments below 80 percent humidity the unit can run continuously without manual drainage. Delivering 16,000 BTU (12,000 SACC) of cooling capacity, it cools spaces up to 550 square feet through a dual-hose design that balances air pressure and speeds up cooling. Wide-angle airflow and a dual-rotor compressor help prevent hot spots.
Smart connectivity allows control via the Zafro app, remote control or digital panel. Voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Home are also supported. Installation includes a window kit, and 360-degree caster wheels and built-in handles make the unit easy to move. Washable filters provide clean airflow and long-term reliability.
“Our goal was to deliver powerful, energy-efficient cooling with the peace and quiet families deserve,” said Robert Wang, CEO of Zafro. “This portable AC meets the needs of renters and tech-savvy homeowners alike.”
